I am both single and widowed, as I am an unwedded widow (you can read that story here). This is just one aspect of my life, but it has given rise to the things I'm most passionate about: 

• Furthering my life mission, which is to love people "from the inside out" and inspire others to do the same.

• Helping to redefine the word "widow" to include those whose relationship was not "official" and therefore whose loss is often not recognized or fully respected. 

• Supporting fellow widowed people of any status and without regard to age, gender, or orientation.

• Influencing our culture toward more acceptance of and knowledge about grief and toward greater depth, empathy, and compassion.
